Kelly Clarkson Announces New Single & Album Title

Kelly Clarkson tweeted this morning that her first single off her new album is called “Mr. Know It All” and that it’s heading to radio very soon.  She also announced that her fifth studio album, Stronger, is due out October 25!

October is a big month for American Idol album releases, as Scotty McCreery and Lauren Alaina’s highly anticipated debut albums are due out October 4 and October 11, respectively.

“Mr. Know It All” will debut on August 30 and will be available on iTunes on September 5.

I absolutely love this song. It’s also pretty much the only track I truly like off of Born This Way. That said, the video is pretty strange. I get it, but I guess I was expecting something not as weird. I guess where Lady Gaga’s concerned the Big Brother phrase, “Expect the Unexpected” should always be applied.

Music Preview: Kelly Clarkson – “Let Me Down” (Snippet)

The one and only Kelly Clarkson is set to release her fifth studio album later this year. Check out a short snippet of the song that’s rumored to be her first single, “Let Me Down.”

I know the clip is like 10 seconds long, but I can already hear myself singing along to this in my car! “Let Me Down” sounds like it has more of a rock vibe to it than what was on her last album. I’m sure it will find a home on radio stations soon.
