Another year has come and gone and it’s time to celebrate the albums and songs that made up the soundtrack to my 2019! Admittedly, I didn’t spend a lot of time digging into new music this year, but I look forward to remedying this in 2020! Without further ado, here are my favorite albums of 2019:

“We’re Finish Ticket, and we’re glad to be home,” lead singer Brendan Hoye said as he greeted the sold out crowd at the Fox Theater on Saturday, October 17 in Oakland, California. The Bay Area-based band is currently opening for the uber-popular Twenty One Pilots on the Blurryface Tour which also features Echosmith.
Finish Ticket has spent the past month and a half setting the tone for each night’s show with their stellar combination of melodic rock and pop, highlighting their energetic set with songs from their new EP and Elektra Records debut, When Night Becomes Day.
The Bay Area’s own Finish Ticket is set to release their new EP, When Night Becomes Day, to digital retailers on Friday, September 4. You can listen to When Night Becomes Day in full on Soundcloud.
The band is hitting the road with twenty one pilots and Echosmith on the Blurryface Tour this fall. On November 5, Finish Ticket returns home to headline the Great American Music Hall in San Francisco. For more info on tour dates, check out www.finishticket.com.

It was a night of Bay Area music at San Francisco’s Brick & Mortar Music Hall on Saturday, May 23, as Finish Ticket put on a secret show as “Squirtle Pond” in front of a sold-out crowd of their biggest fans.
