Tim Halperin Announces Release Date For Full-Length Album, Rise and Fall

Last Friday, singer-songwriter, Tim Halperin made an announcement via Tumblr that was very much relevant to my interests. He let everyone know that his debut full-length album entitled, Rise and Fall is set to be released on September 27! Holla!

President Obama Announces Osama bin Laden is Dead

I usually don’t get political on my blog, but last night (May 1) something big happened. Around 11:30 EST, President Barack Obama confirmed what all the major news outlets had been reporting on for about an hour, that Osama bin Laden had been killed.

I don’t know if I’ll always remember where I was or what I was doing when this announcement was made, but I will never forget the morning of September 11, 2001 when my mom woke me up to let me know that there had been an attack on the United States in New York.

At the time, I was 18-years-old and about to begin my sophomore year of college. I spent the day flipping between various news outlets on TV, trying to wrap my mind around everything that had happened that day.

 Here is the President’s speech, which he delivered ever so eloquently last night.

Cheers to the men and women overseas fighting on our behalf and to the US Intelligence. Thank you for all that you do.

God Bless the USA.

NKOTB & BSB To Tour Together In 2011

Ryan Seacrest announced via Twitter this morning that New Kids On The Block and Backstreet Boys will be going on tour together during 2011.

My reaction to this news?

!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Both NKOTB & BSB will be interviewed at 8 a.m. PST on On Air With Ryan Seacrest on November 8.

Also according to MTV, NKOTBSB will be making their debut with a joint performance at this year’s American Music Awards on November 21.
