Blame it on American Idol, or even Glee, but I love a well-done cover song. Hearing an artist take on a fellow creative’s song has become one of my favorite things, because it allows the listener to become acquainted with a song in a new way. Oh man. Where to begin? First off, I cannot believe it’s been 10 years. This blog was something I started while in college and was just me talking about things happening in pop culture and has evolved into what it is now–a music blog.
What I have always enjoyed about having this site is that it allowed me to combine two of my passions, writing and music. It’s the most wonderful tiiiiiime of the year! The nominations for the 58th Annual Grammy Awards were announced this morning, and there weren’t too many surprises with the top awards, but definitely some interesting choices and unfortunate snubs.
