Lots of news coming from the season 10 Idols this week!
First up, Scotty McCreery and Lauren Alaina’s debut albums hold strong on the charts again this week.
According to Hits Daily Double, Scotty’s album is up one spot to number three, selling 54,875 copies of Clear As Day. Lauren’s album, Wildflower, lands at number 10 this week, selling 25,985 copies. Not too shabby!
And in case you missed it, Scotty released the music video for his current single, “The Trouble With Girls.”
Tune into the Today Show on NBCÂ Â bright and early this Friday, October 28 to catch Tim Halperin in a segment highlighting TCU’s “Frogs For the Cure,” as well as the singer’s ongoing involvement with Susan G. Komen for the Cure.
Casey Abrams has pledged to shave off his signature beard if 1,500 people sign up for the IBD Icons fan club. What’s IBD Icons all about? Check out a video featuring Casey, where he explains his involvement with the cause!
Kendra Chantelle announced earlier this week that her debut album, Unthinkable, is set to be released on November 7. Kendra has been working with producers, Blacelvis and Harold Lilley on her soon-to-be released project.
“I feel like this album is so ME. I have never been more comfortable musically, lyrically or vocally. I feel like I have finally grown into the music I always wanted to do and now I don’t only hear it in my head, I have found the right people to help me get it out of my head and onto records. It’s an incredible representation of heartaches I’ve experienced and emotions I’ve had,” the singer said in a press release.
