As the year winds down, I’ll be revealing 10 albums that were my personal favorites of 2014. First up is Tim Halperin’s Heart Tells Your Head.

Halperin’s sophomore effort showcased both lyrical and stylistic growth from his 2011 release, Rise and Fall, without losing any sense of artistic integrity. The Nashville-based singer-songwriter knows who he is as an artist and served up a strong batch of new music on this latest album.
