Live bloggin’ The Voice results!
Last night the Top 6 performed two songs, one that their coaches chose for them and one of their own choosing. Overall, I thought they all did a great job, and I have no idea who could be heading home tonight.
– Kicking off the show is Ne-yo performing “Let Me Love You” with Team Adam’s Amanda Brown! Ne-yo’s one of my faves, pretty excited he’s performing!
– Ne-yo hung out at the back of the stage and let Amanda shine during her verse. Classy, dude. These two definitely complement each other well onstage.
– Carson checks in with the coaches…
– Adam feels great about his choices for his team. Feels it’s really important to see how his team wanted to express themselves as artists.
– Carson points out that Cee Lo initially hit his button in the blinds for everyone in the Top 6.
– Christina counts Trevin, Cassadee, and Nicholas as standouts from the previous night.
– Team Cee Lo’s Trevin Hunte & Team Blake’s Terry McDermott are duetting on One Republic’s “Feel Again.”
– Surprisingly, this sounds pretty good!

– Next up is a performance from one of my favorite bands, Matchbox Twenty! The band is performing their latest single, “Overjoyed,” with Team Cee Lo’s Nicholas David and Trevin Hunte!

Okay, I am so happy for the four remaining contestants, but it has to be said…Amanda Brown not being in the finals is freaking ridiculous.
