Take a listen to Maroon 5’s new single, “Payphone” featuring Wiz Khalifa!
“Payphone,” the first single off of Maroon 5’s latest album, Overexposed, made it’s official debut earlier tonight on NBC’s The Voice. The track, which features rapper Wiz Khalifa, was produced by Shellback and Benny Blanco. The band’s latest album is said to have much more of a pop feel to it, which makes sense, being that it was executively produced by the acclaimed Max Martin (Backstreet Boys, Britney Spears, Carolina Liar).

And in case you missed it, here’s the band’s performance from earlier tonight on The Voice.
I am really diggin’ “Payphone.” I feel like this track picks up in the direction that their last album, Hands All Over, laid the groundwork for. I think that with last summer’s release of “Moves Like Jagger,” a poppier sound should have been expected from Maroon 5. This is a band that seems to evolve with each album, and I’m excited for June 26 to hear what the guys have been working on!
