On March 3, an all-star Hollywood cast took the stage at the Wilshire Ebell Theatre to perform a reading of Dustin Lance Black’s play, 8.
8 is based on the transcript from the Federal District Court trial, Perry v. Schwarzenegger, to overturn Proposition 8. 8 was written by Academy Award-winning writer Dustin Lance Black and was directed by Rob Reiner. Actors that participated in the reading include: George Clooney, Brad Pitt, Martin Sheen, Jamie Lee Curtis, Christine Lahti, Matthew Morrison, Matt Bomer, Kevin Bacon, John C. Reilly, Chris Colfer, and Jane Lynch.
Presented by American Foundation for Equal Rights (AFER) and Broadway Impact, this is 8.
